Epithemiou's been on shows such as Shooting Stars, Dave’s One Night Stand and The Angelos Epithemiou Show, Soccer AM, Never Mind the Buzzcocks, The Rob Brydon Show, The British Comedy Awards, Come Dine with Me, Pointless Celebrities and Sunday Brunch.
Angelos Epithemiou is the creation of Dan Renton Skinner who's starred in blockbuster films such as The Spy Who Dumped Me, High Rise, and Swallows and Amazons for BBC Films, and TV classics: Sex Education, The Office, My Family, Coupling, The Tracy Ullman Show, Friday Night Dinner, and The Wrong Mans. Dan was nominated for the breakthrough award and best sketch or character act at the 2010 Chortle awards. In December 2011 Skinner won the Best Comedy Breakthrough Artist at The British Comedy Awards.

About Stand Up in the Basement
Stand Up in the Basement brings some of the best comedians from the UK comedy circuit to Southampton, with regular live comedy nights at Papillon in the city centre.
Our line-ups mix established names, award-winning comedians and some of the funniest acts making their way up through the circuit. You might recognise them from TV, podcasts, Edinburgh Fringe or comedy clubs around the country, or you might discover someone completely new.
The night started life in an actual basement, hence the name, but these days we’re above ground in a beautiful old vestry, while keeping the same idea: brilliant stand-up, a great atmosphere and a proper night out in Southampton.
